By making a reservation you agree to the following Terms of Contract

The terms of contract apply for all reservations made by you of products supplied by the tour operator NDSHT Nya Destination Stockholm Hotell & Teaterpaket AB, who is responsible for the Stockholm à la Carte package under the Swedish Law on Package Travel, which is based on the Package Travel Directive of the European Union.

Who is responsbible?
NDSHT Nya Destination Stockholm Hotell & Teaterpaket AB, Nybrogatan 58, SE-11440 Stockholm. Phone +46(0)8 663 00 80, VAT no SE556615874601.

The booking site is responsible to supply you with necessary documentation and to inform you about significant changes that effect your reservation. If the reservation is made by a travel agent or other retailer the payment conditions may vary. Be sure to check conditions if you choose to make reservations elsewhere.

When is your reservation definite?
Reservations are definite and subject to these terms as soon as they have been confirmed by us, either orally or in writing by an e-mail confirmation.

What, when and to whom should you pay?
You should pay the amount stated in your confirmation. We will charge the credit card you stated when making the reservation on the first banking day after check-out from the hotel.

What applies if you want to cancel or change the reservation?
Cancellations / changes of hotel packages can be made at latest 5 pm CET the day before the originally scheduled arrival day. Cancellations / changes has to be made by phone to NDSHT call center, ph +46(0)8 663 00 80 or by email to bokningen@destination-stockholm.com . Cancellations are valid only if confirmed by us. For reservations that include theatre or show tickets Special conditions will apply.

What if anything happens to you?
Cancellations of hotel packages can be made at latest the day before the originally scheduled arrival day. For later cancellations or no-show, the cost for the first night will be charged. If your package includes theatre or show tickets, the full price for these will be charged for all cancellations done later than 22 days before the performance.

What happens if anything goes wrong?
Any errors that might occur during your hotel stay should be reported immediately. This should be done directly to the front desk staff at the hotel. If this is not done, in order to give the hotel an opportunity to correct any failures, you can not retrospectively claim refund. You have a right to free cancellation at any time if the package cannot be delivered as confirmed and if we fail to provide an alternative so similar to the package originally booked, that the difference is of little consequence to you (e.g. hotel at the same rate and in similar location). If this is not possible, contact us. If you cannot reach us while you are in Stockholm (due to a weekend or holiday stay) you must state this in writing to us and claim refund no later than 30 days after the departure from the hotel.

What happens if you disagree with us?
Any dispute arising out of this contract is subject to Swedish Law. If you cannot come to terms with us, you are entitled to bring your complaint to The Board for Consumer Complaints (Allmänna Reklamationsnämnden), Box 74, SE-101 23 Stockholm, Sweden. This board consists of an impartial chairman and representatives for both consumer and travel trade interests, all appointed by the Swedish Government.

Our responsibilities:

  • Confirm your reservation.
  • The products / services should be consistent with the description given on our websites.
  • We should inform you of significant changes relating to your reservation.


What are your obligations?
You are responsible for checking the booking confirmation as soon as you receive this document. Any errors must be pointed out immediately. Pledges made by the booking staff that are essential for you has to be stated in the travel documents to be relied upon.

You must follow the regulations and instructions applicable to the hotel. You are responsible for any damage that occurs to the hotel property and its possessions caused by you or anyone in your party being negligent. You are not entitled to use the product for any other cause but what is stated in the confirmation (usually leisure) and you cannot let other persons spend the night in the room except for the ones stated in the booking reservation. All persons have to be stated at the time for making the reservation.

If you are allergic to anything you should state this when making the reservation in order for us to be able to find the right hotel for you. Please observe that the information we are giving about the hotels states if pets and/or smokers are permitted. However, we can not guarantee that there have not been any pets or smokers in the hotel room shortly before your arrival.

We reserve the right for legislative changes and price changes that are beyond our control.

Current check-in and check-out time is stated on the confirmation.

Minimum age for making reservations
To make reservations with our company you have to be at least 18 years old. For groups minimum two persons have to be at least 18 years old.

Payment
Payment is due no later than the first banking day after check-out from the hotel. If you are paying online by credit card, we will charge the appropriate amount on that day.

Cancellation insurance
A cancellation insurance can be added, but only at the time for the reservation. The cancellation insurance is only valid for products such as theatre tickets, concerts and other events.

The cancellation insurance fee is sek 30 per event ticket.

The cancellation insurance fee, fee for changes, invoice- and booking fees will not be refunded.

22 days or longer prior to arrival: No fee

21 - 0 days prior to arrival: 100% of the total amount for the reservation.

Conditions for transfer
You have the right to transfer your reservation to someone else. This can be done at latest one day prior to the arrival.

Booking fee, interest on overdue payment
No booking fee is charged for reservations of hotel packages. If the credit card is bounced when payment is due, we will add an interest on overdue payment and a reminder fee.

Force Majeure
If your hotel stay can not be delivered due to obstruction beyond our control that we reasonably could not predict when we received your reservation, and the consequences reasonably could not have been avoided or overcome, we are free from any liability or other penalties. The same applies if your reservation is cancelled due to our supplier or any other party.

All information may change without prior notice. We reserve the rights to change any typing errors as well as legislative changes and price changes beyond our control.
